Introduction

Welcome to Texato Rides. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) describe the basis upon which we provide services and rent our vehicles to you. Please carefully read these Terms as your use of our services shall be considered as acceptance of these Terms.

Definitions

“We,” “Us,” “Our”: Texato Rides.

“You,” “Your”: The person using our services or renting a vehicle from us.

“Vehicle”: Any car that you rent from us at Texato Rides.

“Rental Agreement”: The agreement that you sign when hiring a vehicle from us.

Rental Terms

• Booking:All bookings must be placed via our customer service channels.
• Rental Period:The hire period is outlined in the Rental Agreement. Late returns may incur additional charges.
• Vehicle Condition:The vehicle shall be returned in the same condition as it was when rented, except for reasonable wear and tear. You are liable for any damages or losses resulting from your rental period.
• Fuel Policy:The vehicle shall be delivered with a full tank of petrol/gasoline/diesel and must be returned with a full tank. A refuelling charge will apply for vehicles returned with less fuel.

Use of Vehicle

• Permitted Use:The vehicle must be driven only by you or any additional driver(s) as indicated on the Rental Agreement.
• Prohibited Use:You shall not operate the vehicle for any unlawful purposes, race in, tow with, or drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The vehicle shall not be driven or taken outside certain areas without prior consent.
• Maintenance and Repairs:The vehicle is let out in good running condition and you hereby undertake to return the vehicle in the same running condition. Any repairs, service, or maintenance work shall be subject to the approval by Texato Rides

Insurance and Liability

• Insurance Coverage:Our fleet is comprehensively insured for damages and third-party liability. You shall pay an excess as per the terms agreed upon in the Rental Agreement.
• Accidents and Damages:You must notify the Company immediately in the event of an accident or damage. You shall be responsible for any costs not covered by insurance coverage. You shall be responsible for such costs.
• Personal Belongings:The Company or Texato Rides does not assume liability for any personal belongings left inside the vehicle.

Cancellation and Refund

• Cancellation Policy:If there is sufficient notice in respect of the rental period, a cancellation may receive a refund. Exact conditions will be addressed in your Rental Agreement.
• Refunds:Any refunds due will be handled consistent with your Rental Agreement terms.
• Customer Responsibilities
• Driver’s License:You must have a valid driver’s license on your person while driving our vehicles.
• Compliance with Laws:You shall comply with all applicable traffic and local laws.
• Respectful Use:You use the vehicle with respect and without any behavior, which may lead to damage or excessive wear.

Your privacy is important to us. Please take some time to read our Privacy Policy to know how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Dispute Resolution

• Governing Law:These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong.
• Dispute Resolution:Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration, following the rules of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre.

Termination

We may terminate your rental agreement and access to our services upon your breaching these Terms or upon your committing conduct we deem harmful or inappropriate.

Changes to Terms

We will, from time to time, update these Terms. In these events, we shall notify you of any changes. It shall be your responsibility to check for updates from time to time. Continued use of our services shall mean you have accepted the revised Terms.
